GATE Counselling 2025 – Schedule, Procedure, Fee, Seat Allotment

GATE Counselling 2025 is going to be conducted from April 2025 – July 2025 via online mode. Through GATE CCMT Counselling candidates will get admissions in various PG courses offered by IITs, NITs and many other institutions. The Counselling Schedule is not conducted commonly by any institute.

Here different institutes such as Indian Institutions of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) carry out their separate procedures of application and counselling for postgraduate engineering admissions. GATE Counselling 2025

GATE Counselling 2025 is going to be conducted from April to July. All the qualifying candidates of GATE must check notifications of individual IITs and IISc Bangalore, and accordingly apply for Counselling. In the case of NITs, counselling is held commonly through Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Plan/M.Arch (CCMT) Admissions.

GATE Counselling Procedure 2025

The GATE CCMT Counselling Procedure includes a number of steps. Through CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan. Admissions) applicants are provided admission into the NITs and other institutes via online mode. The GATE 2025 Counselling process is based on the valid GATE score card. Registration

To participate in GATE M.tech Counselling, applicants must first need to register themselves online followed by the payment of the registration fee.

Choice filling

After registration candidates can fill their choices of programs as per interest. Applicants must lock their filled choices during the Counselling process.

Online Seat Allotment

Candidates will be allotted their respective seats on the basis of merit, choices filled by the candidate. After seat allotment, candidates must deposit the seat acceptance fees and personally report to the allotted center on the given date.

Document verification

After the seat allotment process, applicants must go through the document verification round. Following documents must be bought at the time of GATE 2025 Counselling.

• Provisional seat allotment letter.
• Original GATE score card and admit card.
• Photo ID proof.
• Birth certificate.
• 12th class mark sheet.
• Mark sheet of qualifying examination (all semester).
• CategorCertificatete (if applicable).
• Passport size colored photograph.
• Seat acceptance fee proof.

Students who have been allotted the seat must complete the provisional seat confirmation process by paying the seat confirmation fee. In case of any other balance fee, then it will be paid to the respective allotted college at the time of admission. After the payment of seat confirmation fee, candidates can download the provisional seat confirmation letter from the website. All the eligible candidates will be allocated their seats in the GATE seat allotment 2025 process on the basis of their GATE rank,  merit and as per their choice.
