CAT 2025: The CAT Exam Date for this year has been recently announced. According to it, the Exam will be conducted in the Last Week of November 2025. CAT Exam stands for Common Admission Test.

It is a National Level Management Test which is organized by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) on a rotation basis. It is one of the most popular but not the easiest gateway to get admission into postgraduate management MBA programs.

The Other Known Detail about CAT 2025 is that it will be conducted by the IIM, Calcutta. To get admission into IIMs Candidate need to qualify this examination.

IIM CAT 2025 Important Dates

CAT 2025 Notification is expected to be released online in the next few weeks maybe July Last week or August 1st week. After the release of the Notification, all the dates and their events will be known and updated here. Till then you can consider this table as a table of Cat Events’ tentative time period.

CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

As I said earlier the exam is the gateway to get admission into MBA Courses and before that Candidates need to fill the application form. To fill the Application form candidates need to fulfill all the CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria.

• Candidates must have a UG degree in any stream from any recognized college or university.
• Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks and 45% marks required for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
• Appearing Students of the final year of the qualifying exam or waiting for the final result are also eligible for CAT 2025.
• CA/CS/ICWA professional degree holders can also apply using the CAT Application Form.

CAT 2025 Registration Form

The Registration form will be available online on the official website. Candidates have to visit and Register them on the official website to fill up the CAT Exam 2025 Registration Form. The Procedure to fill the CAT Application Form is given below.

• After registration Go to the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in and log in there.
• Now log into the application window and fill up the online CAT Application Form will have the following parts.

+ Personal Details
+ Contact Details
+ Academic Details
+ Work Experience
+ Selecting IIMs to apply for
+ Selecting Test Centers
+ Selecting Interview Cities

• Provide/ fill all these details very carefully and review the filled CAT Application Form once again.
• After it, upload the necessary attachments like Photograph, and signature in jpeg format in the form. After it Saves all the details and proceeds to the Payment section By clicking on Pay option.

Note: All the Candidates with improper/blur photographs can login and re-upload their photograph from 27th to 30th September 2025 (Expected).

CAT 2025 Application Fee

After filling the CAT Application Form candidate need to pay the CAT Application Fee. Candidate can pay the fee only through Online Mode via Credit/debit cards, Net Banking, Cash card and wallet. The fee details are written below.

CAT 2025 Syllabus

There is no fixed Syllabus for the CAT. CAT Syllabus 2025. will contain questions from Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning. But Candidates can use Cat Online Mock Test to check the preparation.

IIM CAT Preparation Tips

CAT Admit Card 2025

Admit cards will be available online on the official website from 4th or last week of October.  The candidate has to visit and log in to the official website. After login to the site candidate can download their CAT 2025 Hall Ticket and print it out. They also need to carry the admit card with a photo id to the Examination center.

CAT Answer Key

The Answer Key is expected to be released in the 2nd week of December 2025. If the candidate can find any problem or objection in CAT Answer key 2025 he/she can submit their objection with the proper details to the exam authority in the 2nd/3rd week of December 2025. If the authority found the objection correct and meaningful l they will update the answer key and also the result.

CAT Result 2025

The CAT Result is expected to be released in the Month of January 2025. The result will be also declared online on the official website. All the candidates will be notified about the CAT Result 2025. via Provided Email and Phone number. To check the result candidates have to log in to the official website where there will be a link for results. Click on it and access the result. Candidates also need to download the result and take a print-out of it. It will be required at the time of Admission.

Authority will also prepare and release CAT Rank List which will be based on CAT 2025 Cutoff. Candidates with more than or equal to Cut-Off will be listed on the Rank List.

CAT Admission 2025

Admission Through CAT will be provided on the basis of Cutoff marks and Rank list. Candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the allotted IIM. Each IIM having its own procedures & eligibility so candidates have to take care of them. The Procedure for admission will be consists of various rounds like Personal Interview (PI), Group Discussion (GD) and Written Ability Test (WAT). The candidate will get admission on the basis of Their Performance in the Exam and CAT Admission Procedure.
