Thapar university counselling is being done for both the candidates. Candidates who have qualified GATE examination with predefined cut off and the candidates who have qualified written examination conducted by the admission authority of University. TU M.Tech Counselling Procedure 2017
The counselling procedure will follow single window method where the candidate has to report directly to take admission if he or she find herself eligible. Candidates are suggested to check the detailed advertisement given below.

Choice Filling
Candidates will be asked to fill the registration form on the same page he or she will have to fill the choice of the department that belong to M.Tech/ ME course. And their choice will be considered as per their rank in GATE 2017 and marks in the offline test.
Step 3 Document Verification
At the time of self-reporting candidate will require submitting all of these documents. Candidates are suggested to carry on photo state set of these documents for further use.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have qualified GATE 2017 examination with pre defined cut off.
- Or, Candidates must have qualified written examination conducted by the admission authority of University
- Candidates must possess 60% in B.Tech/ BE from a recognized institution or University
