PU CET 2019: The Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PU CET) is the exam conducted by Panjab University. It is a university level entrance exam of the state Chandigarh. To get the admission in the UG (B.Sc. (Hons.) B.Pharmacy B.PEd. ) and PG (LLM MCA MA MSc MTech MBA MPEd. ) courses interested candidates can apply for PU CET Entrance Exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will get the admission in the university. The eligibility criteria of the PU CET is varied as per the course opted by the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

B. Pharm, Physics (specialization in Electronics), Physics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geology, Chemistry, Biophysics, Anthropology	50% for General category 45% mini. aggregate BC/ SC/ PWD/ ST categories with English, Chemistry, Physics, and any of the subjects – Mathematics, Biology under 10 + 2 pattern from CBSE or recognized board
Botany Zoology	Minimum aggregate of 50% (General) 45% (BC/SC/ST/PWD) with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10 + 2 from the recognized board
B.P.Ed	B.P.Ed. or any equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education with 50% as minimum aggregate.
Mathematics	Minimum aggregate of 50% (General) 45% (BC/SC/ST/PWD) with Mathematics as one of the subjects under 10 + 2 pattern from CBSE or recognized board

M.Sc. (Hons.) Physics	B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) exam from PU any equivalent exam recognized by the Panjab University with at least 50% (Gen) and 45% (SC/ST/BC/PWD) with Physics and Mathematics as elective subjects
M.Sc. (Hons.) Physics and Electronics	B.Sc. (pass or Hons.) exam with Physics and Maths as elective subjects, or B.Sc. (electronics) or B.Tech./B.E. (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/equivalent) For all the qualifications, candidates must have secured 50% marks (Gen) and 45% (SC/ST/PWD/BC) as minimum aggregate from PU or in any equivalent exam recognized by PU

M.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology	B.Sc. in Biotechnology with 50%, or B.Sc. with Biotechnology with 50% marks as an elective or vocational subject studied for all the three years in graduation
M.Sc. (Hons.) Geology	B.Sc. with Geology as a subject with 50% marks as aggregate and 50% separately in Geology
M.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science	BCA or B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science/B.Tech./B.E. (computer science or engineering) or any other equivalent examination recognized by PU with 50% marks
M.Sc. Bioinformatics	Bachelor’s degree (Pass or Hons.) in Science with Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Botany, Genetics, Life Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computing and Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics, Agriculture, Computer Science, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, Zoology Candidates should have scored 50% (Gen) or 45% (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) in the above examination
M.Sc. (Hons.) Biochemistry	B.Sc. (Hons.) Biochemistry or equivalent, or B.Sc. (pass or Hons.) with Biochemistry as one of the subjects or any other equivalent examination, For all the qualifications, candidates should have scored not less than 50% as aggregate in PU or any other exam recognized by PU
M.Sc. (Hons.) Biophysics	B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biophysics from Panjab University B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology from Panjab University or any other equivalent exam B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, or any subject from life sciences in all the three years of graduation.
M.A. English	Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks in English elective/English as a compulsory subject, or Bachelor’s degree or B.A. (Hons.) in any discipline with 50% marks as aggregate, or Master’s degree in any discipline with 50% as an aggregate (General) and 35%(BC/SC/ST/PWD)

How To Fill Application Form 2019

Here we are mentioning some of the points from which help the candidates to fill the PU CET Online Form. The steps are as follows.

All the eligible candidates are able to fill the online form from the April third week 2019.
Candidates can submit PUCET Application Form and generate the bank challan till May 3^rd week 2019.
Fill the required details and upload the image as per the required format.
At last, pay the application fee and take print out of it for the future use.

How To Pay Application Fee

The application fee can be submitted through any of the SBI Bank using website generated challan.
Once the fees are paid in any of the cases it is not refundable

PUCET Exam Pattern

Here we are mentioning the exam pattern of the PUCET Exam Pattern 2019 of B.Pharma and B.Sc. (Hons.) candidates can check it and prepare according to that. Also, we are mentioning here some of the important points regarding the exam.

The exam is conducted through the offline mode only.
For each section 70 min is provided and extra 20 min is given to the PWD candidates.
The type of question is MCQ.
For each correct answer, 2 marks are provided ½ marks deducted for the wrong answer.

Syllabus and Admit Card

The PU CET Syllabus 2019 is from the 11th and 12th standard. The syllabus is comprised of the subject PCM and PCB.

All the candidates informed about the admit card through the E-Mail.
Candidates are able to download it from the official site of the university.
The admit card will be available from the May 4th week 2019.
By using the login ID and password candidate can download their admit card.

The authority of the university will publish the PU CET Entrance Result on June 1st week 2019. Candidates are able to check their result through the online mode on the official site of the university.

The university provides the admission form after the deceleration of the result. Those candidates who are eligible can fill the PUCET Admission Form. The candidates are able to fill the choice of courses and the stream on the application form only.
