NIT, IIT, IIIT Admissions 2017-18: एनआईटी, आईआईटी, आईआईआईटी प्रवेश: Applicants who have qualified successfully the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2017, will be allotted admissions in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs through JoSAA 2017. Applicants who are looking for NIT Admission 2017 must now register for JoSAA. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has already released the JOSAA Counselling Dates along with its various process. Therefore the registration and JOSAA Choice Filling has already started from 15th June and candidates upon merit basis can proceed further for IIT Admission process. NIT, IIT, IIIT Admissions 2017-18
Every year a large number of aspirants appear for JEE mains as well as an advanced entrance test for the purpose of IIIT Admission or get admissions in NITs, IITs etc. Therefore Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017 acts a single platform for providing admissions to the qualified candidates of JEE Main 2017 and JEE Advanced 2017. The JOSAA Counselling 2017 is a common counselling which is conducted for offering admission to IITs, ISM Dhanbad, NITs, IIEST, GFTIs etc. Eligible candidates must further apply for JEE Main Counselling Registration process. Those candidates who have qualified JEE Main will be allotted seats in IIITs, NITs and GFTIs whereas the JEE Advanced qualified candidates will be given admission into the IITs.

JEE Main Counselling Procedure
Applicants appearing for JEE Mains Counselling must follow the below mentioned JOSAA JEE Counselling Process.
For participating in JoSAA counselling 2017, the candidates must fill the online JOSAA Registration Form which has commenced from June 15. Applicants must register by entering JEE Main/JEE Advanced roll number and password.
- Choice filling and locking
Applicants must further go through JEE Main Choice Filling and Locking process, where candidates need to select their preferred colleges and courses from the list provided as per the merit rank
- Seat Allotment
The JOSAA Seat allotment will be done as per the JOSAA 2017 rank list. The seats will be allotted to candidates as per their choice for the B.Tech programs and colleges. The authorities also declare the JOSAA 1st Mock Allotment list and later declared the final list. Applicants who accept the seat must further download JOSAA Seat Allotment Letter and e-challan as acceptance fee.
- Document verification
Applicants must report to their allotted center for document verification purpose.
- Reporting to allotted Institute
After verification of documents, applicants needs to report to the allotted institute and make payment of the remaining fee to confirm their seat.
JEE Main Seat Allotment- NIT/ IIT/ IIIT
The candidates who qualify JEE Main 2017 or JEE Advanced 2017 must attend JEE Mains Counselling JOSAA inorder to get admitted in the participating institute. Candidates will be allotted admission via JEE Main Seat Availability on the basis of rank, choice. Therefore the authority will declare JEE Main Seat Allotment Result through its official portal and we will also update you here with the same.
