CCMT Counselling 2017(सेंट्रलाइज्ड काउंसलिंग)is being conducted from 10th April 2017 through its online process. All the applicants who are interested in CCMT admission 2017 will have to register themselves for the counselling session. The application form for CCMT Registration is available now. CCMT 2017 is a centralized counselling process which is organized by SVNIT, Surat. Through the CCMT admission process, the candidates will be offered admission into the M.Tech courses offered by NITs and other centrally funded institutes. Therefore to get eligible for the the admission process, applicants must have successfully qualified GATE examination.

CCMT Counselling Procedure 2017

Registration

During the registration process, applicants must fill details of GATE examination, academic qualification and contact details in the CCMT application form. The GATE score card must also be uploaded. Once the registration process is complete applicants must make payment of the application fees as discussed below. The fee is Payable only through SBI MOPS(Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or E-Challan at any branch of SBI)

  • OC/OB Category candidates- Rs 2200
  • SC/ST/PWD Category candidates- Rs. 1700

Online Choice Filling and Locking

After successfully paying the registration fees, the applicants must undergo the process of choice filling and locking. Selection of the preferred choices of institutes and courses must be done by the applicants till May 11, 2017. Appliacnts must lock their selected choices between 8th-11th May 2017. Candidates must take print out their registration form and locked choices for future use.

Seat Allotment

The seat allotment process of CCMT 2017 will be held in online mode. The seats will be alloted on the basis of merit and selected choices of the applicant. The list of the applicants who have been successfully allotted seats will be listed out online on the official website. The provisional seat allotment letter will be available online which has to be downloaded by the applicants. Thus the applicants who are alloted their seat must make a payment of Rs. 20,000(all categories) as the Seat Acceptance Fee. The CCMT seat allotment process will be held in three rounds which is then followed by the CCMT NSR Round.

Document verification

All of the allotted applicants must report at their nearest help centres to confirm their admission and verify their documents. The following documents must be presented for the purpose of verification.

  • X, XII Marksheet
  • Print out of the registration form and locked choices
  • Provisional seat allotment letter downloaded from CCMT website
  • Photo ID Proof
  • Proof of payment of seat acceptance fee
  • Self-attested copy of GATE score card
  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Original degree/provisional certificate
  • Mark sheet of qualifying examination
  • Migration certificate
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)
  • Three colour passport size photograph
  • One set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents.

Reporting to the alloted institute

Applicants will have to report physically at their respective allotted institutes and pay the remaining balance fees. At the time of reporting, applicants must carry with them the admission confirmation letter downloaded from the official website, document verification certificate, all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all original documents and three recent colour passport size photographs. If candidates fails to report at the allotted institute then his/her seat will be automatically cancelled.

CCMT Seat allotment

All of the registered applicants will be allotted seats into the various participating institutes of CCMT through CCMT Seat Matrix. The seat allotment process of CCMT 2017 will be held in online mode from 21st May 2017. A merit list will be prepared as per GATE score and accordingly, the allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit list, availability of seat as per filled choices.
