Assam Polytechnic (PAT) Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam organized a state level entrance exam for candidates seeking admission into the polytechnic colleges of Assam. Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) Assam 2024 was conducted on 20 May, 2024 (Expected). The official authority of DTE has announced the result on 1st June. After result declaration, counselling process is started from 19 June. Candidates who appeared in the Assam Polytechnic entrance exam and satisfying the eligibility criteria of PAT 2024 can take part in the DTE Assam PAT Counselling. Assam PAT offers admission into various diploma courses in the government and private polytechnic institutions / colleges of Assam state.

Assam Polytechnic Seat Allotment 2024 Procedure
- After PAT result declaration, the authority will organize an interview round for the qualified students.
- On the basis of performance in interview, candidates will be selected for the admission into the polytechnic institutes.
- For interview, candidates have to report at the allotted venue on the given date & time.
- Counselling & interview round will be held through offline mode.
- Choice of colleges & courses will be provided at the time of interview based on the merit.
- Candidates cannot change their courses or colleges, once admitted for it.
- If Candidate fail to report for interview, will not be considered for admission.

- Part-B of the Form duly and properly filled in Part-B Form is attached in the Information Brochure and also can be downloaded from the website: http://dte.assam.gov.in.
- 10th original Mark sheet/Admit Card/ Passing Certificate.
- Caste Certificate
- PwD Certificate
- Assam PAT Admit Card
- Assam PAT Result/ Score Card
- Original Non-creamy Layer OBC/MOBC from the Deputy Commissioner of the Concerned District for OBC/MOBC, TGLC/Ex-TGLC, Moran Community candidates.

Assam Polytechnic Cutoff 2024
After the result announcement, Assam Polytechnic Cutoff will be published by the authority of DTE, Assam on its official site. Candidates scoring the cutoff marks will be called for interview round. Merit list and cutoff will be followed by the counselling process. Cutoff is a minimum score obtained by the candidates for admission in various polytechnic colleges of Assam state. Assam PAT Cutoff will be prepared by the DTE Board Authority. It will be based on various factors like the number of candidates appeared in the exam, number of qualified students, difficulty level of paper, seats availability etc.
Assam Polytechnic Merit List
Assam Polytechnic Merit List will be prepared by the examination authority of Assam PAT 2024.It will be prepared after conducting interview of selected candidates. Candidates can check the merit list in the local newspaper of Assam or on the official website of DTE. Merit list will contain the name of those candidates who qualified the Assam PAT exam and interview both. After releasing the merit list, admission will be done in the polytechnic colleges.
