TIFR Exam 2024: Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, is an autonomous Research Institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, as well as a deemed University awarding degrees for master’s and doctoral programs. Their main campus is located in Mumbai, with centres at Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The institute conducts TIFR exam once a year for the PhD, pure MSc or Integrated MSc-PhD programs in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science & Learning, Information and Data Science, Science Education, and an MSc program in Wildlife Biology and Conservation.

TIFR Exam 2024 Eligibility
TIFR exam is conducted for different courses for various subject of science. It is very important to understand TIFR Eligibility 2024 criteria. Following are the points given on eligibility criteria for different programs:
- There is no condition of age limit or percentage cut-off for UG or PG academic scores.
- The courses offered by the institute are for MSc, PhD and integrated MSc- PhD.
- Each candidate can apply for 2 paper and pay for application fees separately.

The Candidate who have valid NET, JRF, JEST, or GATE Scores or JRF qualifications from CSIR/DBT/ICMR/UGC/DBT are also eligible to get admission in Tata institutes.

How to Apply for the TIFR Exam Application Form 2024:
- Applicant must visit the official website of the TIFR i.e. www.tifr.res.in
- Applicant should complete the registration form i.e., name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, SSC details, subject, program etc.
- After login, please click “Go to Application” link on the right-top corner of the page and complete the full application
- Click on the Application link and register your personal details, education qualification, upload scan passport photo (of specific dimensions), signature, etc.
- Now Select the Test centre according to our convenience and program code.
- Now cross verify the details before you submit the application carefully.
- Once you checked it then submit the form.
- After submitting the form, save the form and take the print out for future references.
- Now check your email id as the site has sent you the email confirmation of successful form with login details Id and password.
- Login in to the account and pay the fees through online mode.
- Use Net Banking/Debit card/Credit Cards to pay the fees.
- Once the fee is paid you should also take the print out of the fee receipt.
- Your TIFR Exam Application Form 2024 is applied successfully.
