MGU CAT Result 2024: The Result is going to be announced on 5 June 2024 (Expected). MGU CAT 2024 is an entrance exam for the various academic programmes offered in the different Schools of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Mahatma Gandhi University (MG University or MGU) is an Indian state-related public university, established on 2 October 1983 in the Kottayam district of Kerala, India. Applications are invited for admission to the Post Graduate academic programmes in the Statutory Teaching Departments and Inter School Centre of the University for the academic year 2024-25. Except for M.Ed, admissions to all the programmes are done on the basis of Common Admission Test (CAT- MGU).
The university offers around 300 academic programmes in 300 affiliated colleges spread over five districts in central Kerala. MGU CAT entrance exam was held on 5 & 6 May. All the appeared students are waiting for the result. The Result of MGU CAT will be declared by the authority of MG University on the official portal. MGU CAT Rank List will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the entrance test and will be released on the day of the result declaration. How to Check MGU CAT Result 2024
- Visit the portal mgu.ac.in to download the result.
- Candidates can check their result by entering the required details.
- The result will appear on the screen.
- Download the result and save it for future references.
- Candidate can also download the rank list from the same site.
MGU CAT Rank List will be declared after the announcement of MGU CAT result. The Rank List for all the PG courses will be prepared on the basis of:
- Marks scored in the test will be converted to 1000.
- Bonus marks/weighted marks. A+B shall be the index marks.
MGU CAT 2024 Cutoff
The Cut-Off will be released after the announcement of result. MG University will decide the MGU Entrance Exam Cutoff. Cutoff marks vary every year on the basis of some factors like the number of appeared student, previous year cutoff, seat availability, the difficulty level of paper. Candidates who clear the cut off marks will be called for counseling.
MGU CAT 2024 Merit List
MGU CAT 2024 Merit List will be published after the declaration of result and rank list. It will be purposed on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates. It may be possible that two students score the same rank, in that case, age of student will be considered. Older candidates will get priority.
MGU CAT 2024 Counselling
The candidate will be invited for counselling after the result and rank list declaration. MGU PG Entrance Counselling will start from June onwards. Applicants having cutoff marks will be invited for counseling and admission process. It will be mandatory to carry the original documents for verification at the time of counseling.
