Karnataka CET Counselling Procedure 2017
The KCET Engineering Counselling will be held tentatively in the month of June 2017. The applicants will have to go through several process to get admission into the participating institutes under Karnataka CET 2017. Check below the details of Karnataka CET Counselling below-
Registration
The applicants must report to their closest Helpline Centre for registering themselves for the counselling session.The application number which gets generated while filling the form must be provided at the center for verification purpose.
Documents verification
At the time of reporting to the Helpline Centres, the applicants must undergo document verification round. The original documents of the applicants will have to be submitted. After the successful verification documents, a unique User ID and Password will be provided to the candidate along with a Unique Keyword in a verification slip.
Documents to be submitted
The applicants will have to bring the original documents along with one set of photocopies. After verification, the original documents will be returned to the applicants while the photocopies will be retained by the admission committee. The following documents for verification must be present-

Choice Filling and Locking
The next step comes the process of filling and locking the choice of colleges and courses as per candidates interest. The applicants must enter their allotted User ID and Password or log in purpose. The authority will upload the seat matrix on its website as per category, course, and college. Candidates can log in by entering their application number and Unique Keyword. Once logged in, aspirants must select their choice of colleges and course. selection of choices can be done on a maximum number. Once done, applicants must click on ‘Submit’ and log out.
Karnataka CET Seat Allotment 2017
The applicants appearing for KCET Counselling 2017 will be allotted their respective seats in online mode. Karnataka (KCET) Seat Allotment will be done on the basis of applicant’s merit and preference of seats. The list of the applicants who are allotted their seats will be published in online mode. Therefore all the selected applicants must take a printout of the admission letter and report at their allotted institute. Payment of fees has to be done after which the admission of the applicants will be confirmed. Only the aspirants who meet Karnataka CET Cut off will be called for counselling process.
