JAC Delhi Counselling 2018
JAC Delhi Counselling 2018 is a counselling process which is going to be commenced in June 2018 for providing admissions to B.Tech programmes across the participating institutes. Through JAC Delhi admissions 2018, candidates will be offered seats in undergraduate engineering programmes at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT). Therefore all the eligible candidates who are seeking admissions into these four technical institutions must fill JAC Delhi Counselling Application Form. JAC Delhi Counselling 2018
The JAC Delhi counselling process will be held in three rounds. All the students will be allocated their seats on the basis of JEE Main 2018 score. The complete counselling procedure includes a number of steps such as choice filling, registration, document verification etc. Thus the selected candidates must log in to their JAC Delhi 2018 account and take print out of the seat allotment letter.
JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for JAC Delhi B.tech admission is set by JAC Committee Delhi wherein all aspiring candidates for admissions into B.Tech and B.Arch programs at the four participating institutes must meet before applying for admissions. Check below the details –
- B.Tech/B.E. Admissions at DTU, NSIT and IGDTUW will be strictly provided on the basis of candidates JEE Main 2018 All India Rank in Paper-I.
- B. Arch admissions at IGDTUW will be offered based on JEE Main 2018 All India Rank in Paper-II.
- B.Tech admissions at IIT will be provided on the basis of total marks secured by the candidate in JEE Main 2018 Paper 1 and bonus marks for candidates.
JAC Delhi Application Form 2018
The application form of JAC Delhi 2018 will be available in the online mode just after the declaration of JEE Main 2018 results. The application form is a registration form which can be accessed by candidates as per the schedule of JAC Delhi counselling. For registration, the candidates must make payment of counselling fee of Rs.1,200 (non-refundable)
JAC Delhi Counselling Procedure
The JAC Counselling Process includes a number of stages, which are discussed below-
Submission of application fee
In order to make payment of fee candidates must log into the portal using JEE Main 2018 Roll Number, Mobile Number, Email ID. The payment can be made via Credit/Debit Card/Internet Banking/Cash.
Filling of application form
After paying the application fee candidates need to fill details in the given field such as roll number, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, 12th standard results status and also upload scan photograph and signature.
Choice filling
Here the candidates must make their choice preferences for Institute and branches where they want to opt for admission. Applicants can choose a maximum number of choices and at the same time check course and institute-wise fee structure before opting for choice filling. The choices made by the applicants will be locked automatically once the registration period gets over.
Document verification
Candidates must bring the following documents in original along with photocopy at the reporting center for verification-
- X, XII Marksheet
- Receipt of the Admission Fee Payment
- Registration Form duly signed by guardian/parent and the candidate
- Printout of filled choices
- Three passport size color photograph
- Printout of the Admit Card & Score Card of JEE Main 2018
- Printout out of Seat Allotment Letter
- Date of Birth Certificate as indicated in High School or equivalent examination
- Reserved category/sub-category Certificate(if applicable)
- Medical fitness certificate
- PD sub-category certificate

JAC Delhi Seat Allotment Results
The JAC seat matrix and counselling session will be conducted in 3 rounds, where JAC Delhi Spot Round counselling will also be carried out in the case of the availability of vacant seats. The result for various rounds of counselling and seat allotment will be announced according to the counselling schedule. Selected candidates must login to their JAC Delhi 2018 account and take a print out of the seat allotment letter.
