IISER Admission Test 2018 (आईआईएसईआर एप्टीट्यूड टेस्ट)The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research conducts IISER B.Tech Entrance Exam each year for providing the eligible and deserving candidates a chance to continue their engineering studies with the IISER. Candidates will be enrolled via 03 modes, i.e. JEE Advanced Channel, KVPY channel, SCB channel. The Indian Institute of Science and Research Admission will start the online submission of IISER Aptitude Test Application Form 2018 from May on the Official Website of the IISER. Candidates have to fill the application form with complete authentic details and then need to submit IISER Online Registration Form 2018 on or before the last date. Steps to submit IISER Online Application 2018.

  • Visit official web portal of IISER, i.e. www.iiseradmission.in/.
  • Select the reason for which you want to apply.
  • Follow the notification section.
  • Search for Apply Link and then click on it.
  • Chose the B.tech course and fill the complete application form with correct entries.
  • Don’t forget to pay the application fees, i.e. Rs. 750/- for reserved categories and Rs. 1500/- for general candidates.
  • Take a printout copy of application form.

IISER Eligibility Criteria 2018

Application for IISER will be accepted via 03 channels and the eligibility for all these three channels differ from each other. These three channels are:

  • State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel.
  • Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel.
  • Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel.

KVPY Channel: Candidates should have a valid KVPY fellowship starting from 2018-19 academic session.

JEE Channel: Only the candidates scoring a rank under top 10000 in the CRL (Common Rank List) of JEE Advanced 2018. Relaxations are applicable for reserved categories (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD).

SCB Channel: Candidates need to pass their 10+2 standard with minimum qualifying marks as per the criteria decided by the IISER. The list of % marks that are needed to qualify the eligibility are given.

IISER Syllabus 2018

The syllabus of IISER admission includes Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology topics of the 11th and 12th standard. IISER Exam Pattern 2018

  • ISER Aptitude Test Type: Objective type with 4 multiple-choice options.
  • Mode of Examination: Offline mode.
  • The Question Paper Language: English language.
  • Total Time Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes).
  • Total No of the questions: 60 questions.
  • From Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology 15 questions from each subject will be asked.
  • 3 marks will be provided for each right answer.
  • Negative Marking: 01 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

IISER Selection Procedure

The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in IISER Admission test. The applicants need to qualify the IISER Admission Cutoff to get admission in IISER for pursuing their engineering classroom courses.

IISER Admit Card 2018

The Admit card of IISER entrance exam 2018 will be provided online at its official website 15 to 20 days prior the exam. The candidates need to carry the IISER B.Tech Entrance Exam Hall Ticket 2018 with any of the photo identity proof while appearing in the examination hall, without the admit card the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination. We are predicting that the IISER Admission Admit Card will be released officially in the 03rd week of June 2018. The admit card is treated as the proof of your successful application.

IISER Admission Test Identity Verification

There will be the identity verification just before the exam. So all students are advised to carry a valid identity proof while appearing in the examination. Without identity verification, the students can’t enter the examination center.

IISER Admission Counselling 2018- Seat Allotment

The selected candidates who have applied for IISER Admission Test will be invited for 01st IISER Counseling 2018 in the last week of June 2018 and then the candidates who are not allotted the seats in 01st counseling will be invited to appear in the 02nd counseling round that will be conducted in July 02nd Week 2018.
