CDFD Exam 2024: The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), an autonomous organization funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Recognized by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Regional Centre for Biotechnology and University of Hyderabad for a Ph.D. programme in Life Sciences.
The institute receives funding from other agencies on specific collaborative projects, equipped with world class state-of-the-art instrumentation and computing infrastructure to facilitate research and development in frontier areas of modern biology. There are presently twenty four groups working on diverse research areas and the centre continues to attract leaders in related disciplines.

Candidates have to apply for CDFD exam 2024 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted and Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure for the Admission in CDFD – RSP – I – 2024 will be based on an interview via video conference; scheduled to be held February, 2025( the exact dates will be informed along with the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview). The candidates should be available for more than one round of interviews, spread over 4-5 days, if needed.

- A valid fellowship is an ABSOLUTE requirement for pursuing Ph.D. at CDFD:

- If a candidate’s fellowship result is AWAITED, the candidate can UPDATE the fellowship status preferably before the examination, but positively before the interview.
- Though a candidate is allowed to submit application without having qualified valid fellowship, only those candidates who hold a valid fellowship will be eligible for interview.

- Make your registration valid by verifying it through the your Email or mobile number.
- Go to the login link and insert registered details to access the online form.
- Recheck all filled details and click on the submit button.

(i) a recent photograph (file size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background;
(ii) candidate‟s signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb)
(iii) PwD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb), if applicable.
