Punjab Engineering Admission Counselling 2025 (पंजाब इंजीनियरिंग प्रवेश काउंसिलिंग) is going to be conducted by I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, formerly called as Punjab Technical University, tentatively in the month of July 2025. Punjab B.tech Counselling 2025 is going to be conducted in two rounds, where the first counselling round will start tentatively in July 2025. Punjab B.tech Admission 2025 Eligibility
- Applicants who are local residents of Punjab are entitled to Admission to 85% of the seats available through the Punjab B.Tech admission.
- Candidates must have passed class XII or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in XII
- Applicants who have completed a Diploma in any of engineering streams or equivalent from a recognized state board of technical education are also eligible for admission.
- Candidates must have scored valid mark in JEE Main 2025
Punjab Engineering Admission Procedure
- Registration
Candidate must register for counselling process online and make payment of Rs. 2000 (non-refundable) as counselling fee.
- Reporting to Counselling centre
Eligible candidates must report to the counselling centre as specified. Candidates have to qualify JEE Main 2025 exam to appear in Punjab Engineering Admission Counselling. Students who are appearing in their 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to appear the counselling , but in this case he/she must provide the certificate of eligibility.
- Claim for reservation
Applicants can claim for reservation under various categories at the time of registration for online counselling process.Preference will be given as 85% of total seats for Punjab residents and 15% for outside Punjab candidates.
- Choice filling
Candidates can choose their college and course as per their interest through choice filling process.
- Document verification
Applicants must go through a document verification round where the original documents of candidates will be verified.
- Seat Allotment
All the Qualified candidates appearing in the Counselling will be allotted their seat through Punjab Engineering Seat Allotment process on the basis of the JEE Mains Entrance exam Merit List and the Preference of the candidate. Therefore candidates must fill their choice and Lock it.
