UCEED 2018 (डिज़ाइन के लिए अंडर ग्रेजुएट कॉमन प्रवेश परीक्षा): The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay conducts Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design for the admissions in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) courses. The students have to submit the UCEED Application Form 2018 to appear in the entrance exam. The admissions to IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIITDM Jabalpur will be provided through this test. The application form for UCEED Admission 2018 will be released on 9tht October. The exam will be conducted on 20th January 2018.

UCEED Application Form 2018

The students have to submit the UCEED Registration 2018 before the last date of the form. The deadline for the form is 11tht November without late fees and 17tht November with the late fee. We will activate the below-mentioned link through which you will be able to submit the UCEED Application Form. They just have to follow some precise procedure for the submission of the admission form.

Steps to submit UCEED 2018 Application Form.

The students have to access the open the official website.
Click on the link regarding the application form.
Enter your all details like name, qualification age etc.
Submit the details by clicking on the proceed button.
In next step, attach the scanned copy of documents, photograph and signature along with the form.
Pay the required application fee for the form.
Submit the form by clicking on the submit button.
Also, take a print for the future reference.

UCEED Eligibility Criteria

The students are advised to check the UCEED Eligibility 2018 before applying for the application form.

Type of Eligibility	Required Eligibility
Nationality	The aspirant must be an Indian Citizen The NRI Aspirants can also apply. The aspirant must have valid proof of their residence.
Age Criteria	Minimum: 17 Years Maximum: 23 Years (born after 1988 for SC/ST/PWD)
Educational Qualification	The aspirant must have qualified 12tht Class from any recognized Board. They must have passed the exam in 2016 or after that. Students passed 12tht with any stream can apply for the exam.
No of Attempts	A student can appear for the exam for a maximum period of two consecutive years.

Subject	Topics
Visualization and spatial ability	Pictorial and diagrammatic questions to test, understanding of transformation and/or manipulation of 2D shapes and 3D objects and their spatial relationships, knowledge of practical and everyday mechanical and scientic concepts.
Environmental and social awareness	General awareness of environmental factors such as climate, population, water, vegetation, pollution, weather, natural resources etc., and their implications on the design of products, images, infrastructure and environment. Awareness of social and cultural connection with the design, history of the designed artefact, and socially responsible and environmentally sustainable design responses. History of art, sculpture and literature.
Language and creativity	Ability to understand and use Standard English. Reading comprehension, knowledge of English grammar such as sentence structure and usage, the use of tenses, verb patterns, articles, and active and passive constructions etc., and vocabulary skills. Ability to think creatively in terms of alternatives, ability to distinguish innovative options and think out of the box.
Analytical and logical reasoning	Ability to look at information, be it qualitative or quantitative in nature, and discern patterns within the information. Ability to weigh opinions, arguments or solutions against appropriate criteria. Ability to check for hidden bias or hidden assumptions and whether evidence and argument support conclusions. Ability to use logic and structured thinking to deduce from a short passage, which of a number of statements is the most accurate response to a posed question. Data Interpretation,brainteasers, and patterns.
Observation and design sensitivity	Ability to detect concealed properties in ordinary things, people, situations, and events, and thinking critically about them. Applying attention to certain details, analysing, reasoning, classifying, inferring and predicting. Ability to discern subtle differences in visual properties and aesthetic outcomes.
