IISER Admission Form (आआईएसईआर प्रवेश परीक्षा आवेदन फॉर्म) 2017: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research conducts this engineering entrance examination for enrolling the qualified candidates in its various institutes all across the country for pursuing their Engineering studies. IISER Admissions 2017 Application Form
All the interested applicants, first have to register themselves online by submitting the completely filled IISER Application Form 2017 on or before the last date, i.e. 12th June (for KVPY), 18th June (for SCB Stream) and 19th June 2017 (for JEE Channel). The online submission of IISER Admission Form 2017 will be started from 22nd May 2017. IISER conducts the engineering admission test for admitting the willing and deserving candidates into the IISER Classroom Engineering courses. The candidates are requested to appear in the IISER Admission Counselling and seats to the candidates will be allotted in seat allotment rounds, 01st Seat Allotment Round will be strated from 15th July done in the Last week of June 2017 and 02nd Seat Allotment Round will be done in the 02nd Week of July 2017.
Steps to Register for IISER Admission Form 2017
- Visit official web portal of IISER, i.e. www.iiseradmission.in/.
- Select the reason for which you want to apply.
- Go to the notification section.
- Search for Apply Link and then click on it.
- Chose the B.tech course and fill the complete application form with correct entries.
- Pay the application charges as per their category as shown below.
- Click on “Submit” button after rechecking all the entries.
- Take a print out of application form for the personal use.
IISER Entrance Test Academic Qualification
Application for IISER will be accepted via 03 channels and the eligibility for all these three channels differ from each other. These three channels are:
- State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel.
- Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel.
- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel.
KVPY Channel: Candidates should have a valid KVPY fellowship starting from 2017-18 academic session.
JEE Channel: Only the candidates scoring a rank under top 10000 in the CRL (Common Rank List) of JEE Advanced 2017. Relaxations be applicable for reserved categories (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD).
SCB Channel: Candidates need to pass their 10+2 standard with minimum qualifying marks as per the criteria decided by the IISER. The list of % marks that are needed to qulaify the eligibility are given in the table below:
