NEET Counselling 2018: National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Counselling 2018 is conducted in two rounds in online mode. After the declaration of the result, candidates who are interested can register them self for the participating in AIQ (All India Quota) of NEET UG Counselling. The candidates are required to download their rank letter which is issued by the CBSE.

The NEET Counselling is held for the various colleges like ESIC, AFMC, Deemed and central Universities, All India Quota seats, state and private colleges. The NEET Couselling Overview is provided below the table. There are different types of NEET seat allotment and Counselling held and each type of counselling body is scheduled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

NEET Counselling 2018 Procedure

NEET Counselling is conducted online with two rounds. After the declaration of the result, candidates are required to register for the All India Quota( AIQ). To participate in NEET Counselling procedure candidate are required to download the NEET 2018 rank card which is issued by the CBSE. Counselling will be conducted in following steps:

  1. Candidate Registration
  2. Fill college choice by the candidate (Round 1)
  3. Result of NEET seat allotment (Round 1)
  4. Selection and rejection of the college and the allotment of seat at round 1
  5. New registration (Round 2)
  6. selection of the fresh candidate and locking of the seat (round 2)
  7. Allotment of seats (Round 2)
  8. Approvement or rejection of the college and the seat Allotment.

NEET Counselling 2018: Required Document 

On the occasion of the NEET Counselling the candidate have to bring the document at the colleges. These documents help the candidate for further taking round held in the counselling. The document needs in the Counselling procedure are as follows:-

  • NEET 2018 Admit Card
  • ID proof
  • 8 Passport size photograph
  • NEET 2018 Rank letter or AIQ Rank Letter
  • Provisional allotment letter which is generated online
  • Class 10th certificate and mark sheet(for the date of birth proof)
  • Class 12th certificate and mark sheet
  • AIQ Rank Letter
  • Community certificate(if applicable)

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test conducted the counseling in two processes. One held for the All India Quota Seats and other for the Central and deemed universities. The detail for each and every seats and university are provided below the table.

NEET 2018 Counselling Scheduled: All India Quota Seats

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test(NEET) released the date for the counselling. The counseling is held after the declaration of the NEET result. For the All India Quota, the first counseling conducted by NEET is 12th June 2018. So the candidate is ready for that. Other details like the last date of joining the counseling which is held after the second round are provided below the table.

NEET Counselling Scheduled: Central and deemed Universities

For the Central and deemed universities, the counseling of the NEET is held after the declaration of the NEET result. The first counseling held in the month of the June(expected). The last date for Counselling For central and deemed Universities for the first round is the 3rd July 2018. Other details are provided in the table

In the counselling procedure, candidates have to follow registration procedure. After it, they have to fill their choice of course and institutes. Then the NEET Seat allotment authority will allot seats to all the eligible candidates in any round. After it, candidates have to report to the college for further admission procedure.
