ICSI CS Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the Eligibility Criteria mentioned below before applying for the course of your choice and ensure that you are satisfying all the norms set by ICSI.
- For Foundation programme, must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized central board or state board.
- Candidates having streams like Science, Arts, and Commerce (excluding Fine Arts) in Class 12 can apply for ICSI CS Foundation course.
- No age limit has been described by ICSI for CS Foundation programme.
- Candidates should have graduation or post graduate degree in any discipline (Except Fine Arts) can apply for ICSI CS Executive course.
- Students who are in first year of their graduation can appear provisionally.
- Candidates should not be less than 17 years of age at the time of registration.
- For CS Professional, candidates should have must passed the CS Executive Programme.

- Go to the official website i.e. isci.edu
- Move to the ‘Student Registration’ option.
- Check the list of required documents to be uploaded during registration before proceeding.
- Next, click on ‘Proceed to Registration’.
- Select your Course (Foundation/ Executive/ Programme)
- Pay the fee as per your module or course and then login to your registered account.
- Fill the Application form & Upload scanned images of photograph, signature& documents.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Candidates should know ICSI CS Exam Pattern before the examination as it help to understand the pattern of paper, time management, type of questions, total no of questions, marking scheme, paper language etc.
The examination will be held through online mode (Computer-based Test). For foundation programme, there will be 4 papers, each paper containing 50 multiple choice question and total time given to complete 100 questions is 90 minutes only.

CS Executive Programmes is divided into 2 Modules and are 7 subjects. 100 questions are asked from each subject. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

“Rome was not built in a day”. Similarly, we can not pass any examination by studying one day or night. You need to move step one by one towards your exam preparation and then you will achieve success.
Here we have provided some Preparation Tips to help you.
- First check the Complete Syllabus of your corresponding course. Go through it completely.
- Practice Previous Year Papers as much as you can.
- Make a study plan and follow it strictly.
- Try to solve the easiest questions first and then jump to the difficult one.
- Don’t stick to one question. If you find difficulty in solving the questions, then attempt that question at the last.
- Take help of Reference Books, Online Study Portal & Material
Previous Year Paper
To score well and get selection in CS Foundation/ CS Executive or CS Professional courses, candidates should solve Previous Year Papers. ICSI CS Question Papers are available at the official website. With the help of question papers, you will get to know what to study, the difficulty level of paper, how to manage the time, marking scheme and which topics is more important etc.
Admit Card
Successfully Registered Candidates will be able to download their ICSI CS Admit Card via online mode. ICSI will issue the hall ticket on its official website. Candidates will have to visit the site and with the help of registration number download your admit card. Probably, it will be available 15 days before the examination date.

ICSI CS Exam 2019 Result
The examination head controller announces results for each session separately. ICSI CS Result 2019 June will be announced in July or August month. After result declaration, a Merit List will be prepared for CS Foundation/ Executive/ Professional programme separately. It will include the top 25 rank holders only.
